At the dawn time you can find there are lots of people just working and doing their exercise on the beach road so there are two sunrise viewpoint at promenade Beach.
One at the beginning of the beach and another at the end of beach So we decided to go to the end crossing the le duplex park The Long rocky viewpoint is awesome place to enjoy the sunrise view from here There already many people has come to view the sunrise though till now sky is not clear due to lots of cloud But I hope somewhat beautiful. We will see here. However, less enjoy the view The sunrise view is awesome And you will feel that Sun is coming up from the below of the sea with purple sky and boats Like the toys floating on the sea water As the time passes the beauty of the sunrise changes and you will start to feel hot and humid due to the sunshine This long white bridge Which is just going some inside the sea, that bridge, the tourists are not allowed to go or walk Throw that bridge. only official person or fishermen can go there Most of the fishermen from last night are coming back from sea with their fishes and very soon They will be busy to sort out the fishes on the beachside area And Here the fishermen are so busy at that workout, which they do every day Most of the fishes I have seen here those were small or medium fishes with some crabs NOW, It’s time to go back to our hotel and feeling so hungry But before going back to our hotel, we will see some Must to see places on the beach road First have come to the green le duplex park with duplex statue Standing with long history of French Indian colonial time at the end of Beach Road Joseph Marquez duplex was the governor-general of French India and rival of a Robert Clive When duplex left Pondicherry or puducherry in 1754 French recognition for his contribution came only in 1870 with the commissioning of two statues one in Pondicherry and another one is in France Next this is the Ambedkar Mani mandapam on Beach Road. Just three to four Buildings away from duplex park Dedicated to dr. BR Ambedkar This is a monument come Memorial and stays open from 9:00 a.m. To 9:00 p.m. This is the most old café name LE-CAFE which used to be a port office under the French rule in the 1790 but later it formed as a café Here only French dishes you can avail and stays open from 5:00 a.m. To 11:30 p.m.
So Just opposite to le café there are French war memorial This is the French war memorial Which we can see and standing right now dedicated to the residents of French India who died For the country during the First World War. It is also just near the Gandhi statue You have to see only from outside Again this is the Pondicherry custom house, which is just beside the French war Memorial on the opposite of custom-house, there are most famous statue of our Father of nation Mahatma Gandhi This area where it becomes so crowd on the evening Here you can see the statue of Jawaharlal Nehru too, which is just opposite of it And Also old lighthouse of Pondicherry can be seen here but tourist not allowed to go inside or top of the light house And this is the most oldest premium hotel tucked in the core of curious French Quarter Pondicherry. This total apartment built as per the French architecture so this is our time to go back to our hotel. But again, we’ll come on the evening so as the sunset is not so much attractable on see side so we came on the beach again at 5 p.m. And again,
we will see those places which we visited at the morning And those will must have another kind of view at night with light And also we’ll enjoy the beauty of sea beach and sea waves Also on the evening whole Beach Road becomes so crowd which just opposite to the view of morning Beach Road also the whole roads traffic are blocked in the evening and you should park your car or bike at the parking slot area near the promenade hotel area or port area This the Gandhi statue again and I did notice that some children are playing around the monument of our father of nation Gandhi but this is so epic and I think this should not because this is not the way to Show respect towards him and it should be stopped by administration So after spending quite hours of time from 5:00 p.m. To 10:00 p.m.
